Cette après-midi je dois balader un groupe de touristes en faisant différents commentaires. Il faut que je me rafraichisse la mémoire. Je m'entraine sur le blog.
[Le bus arrive. Je monte dedans.] "Hello. Welcome to the Tromso Villmarkssenter. My name is Elodie. I will be your guide for today. The Tromso Villmarkssenter is an alaskan husky farm, there are
over 100 dogs waiting for you. Please follow me out of the bus, I will tell you about the program."
[Devant l'accueil.] We will first go for a nature walk, I will tell you about where we are, about the climate and the environment of this area. Then, in this room, we will watch a movie about the
Iditarod, the world's longest dog sleighing race. Then we will go and see the dogs and the puppies, and I will tell you about dog sleighing. Then we will go to the lavvo over there and have some
tea, coffee and chocolate cake by a nice fire. There are toilets in the shop over here and in the building over there. The bus back to Tromso leaves at 5:30 pm. Do you have any questions?

Then, let's go!
[Nature walk, premier arrêt.] From here you can see Tromso. With your boat, you arrived on the other side of the island. You crossed the bridge west and drove southwards along the coastline all the
way up to here. We are on an island called Kvaløya. This means whale island. It is the fifth biggest island of mainland Norwegia. About 10 000 people live on the island.
Does anybody have any questions?
[deuxième arrêt] The mountains on this island are quite high. Over 10 mountains reach above 700 m. The mountain you can see over there is called Big Blueman. It is the highest mountain of the
island and is 1044m high. As you can see, it is 3:30 pm, and it's almost dark. From the 21rst of November to the 21rst of January the sun won't rise above the horizon. And then from the 21rst of
May to the 21rst of July the sun will never set.
Does anybody have any questions?
[3ème arrêt] In this area the temperatures vary from averages of about -5° celsius in the winter to 12° in the summer. It never gets very cold because the warm ocean current called the Gulf
Stream passes close-by. This has a consequence on the nature around. As you can see there isn't a wide variety of vegetation. The trees you can find here are common birch trees, there for example,
and arctic birch trees, that don't grow higher than knee level. The ground is covered with soft moss, although it's frozen now, and many different types of berries grow. There is the crow berry,
which has small black berries, not very tasty but the people around here love to make alcohol with them. There are also blueberries, ...
Over there you can see the trail we go dog-sledding on. We start behind the dog yard and drive through different trails across this area.
Does anybody have any questions?
Shall we go back to the Villmarkssenter and watch the movie?
...
[Dans la salle d'accueil] The movie you are about to see is about the Iditarod, the world's longest dog-sleighing race in the world. Tore, your driver, and his wife Tove, are professional mushers.
They participated in the race in 2006. After the movie we will be happy to answer any questions.

[questions]
Shall we go see the dogs?
Be careful, there are holes all over the place... The dogs dig them in the summer to have cool places to hang out in.
